JUNIOR Program

The junior program focuses on developing fast rowers and strong individuals, training athletes aged 12-18 in various boat classes, including singles, doubles, and quads. With an open-door policy, athletes are encouraged to attend as often as possible—hard work leads to faster progress. A positive attitude is essential, as rowing is demanding. Most regattas have specific age categories and novice events for athletes new to the sport. No rowing experience is necessary.

Boats, oars, and rowing machines are provided as part of the membership, while athletes are responsible for regatta fees and clothing for training and racing.

Junior Novice - Learn to Row

The Junior Novice program is a 4-session Learn to Row course designed for junior athletes with no rowing experience. These sessions will introduce the sport, teach basic body movements, boat handling, on-water safety, and get athletes on the water. At the end of the program, athletes will be offered spots in the Junior Summer Programs if they wish to continue (and we hope they do!)
